Developer Larian Studios supported on the Facebook page (through Game Informer) to get Divinity: Original Sin 2 that owners of this game will be receiving the forthcoming Definitive Edition as a free upgrade when it arrives in August, which may bring the PC version to parity with the game’so release consoles.
While the specifics of what exactly the Definitive Edition would comprise have not yet been shown by Larian Studios, the developer failed state that “thousands of changes and tweaks are coming in the Definitive Edition,” which means we’ll likely get quite a few of upgrades to the game as it surfaced last year, though no word has now come out yet if will comprise DLC or additional added content.
Divinity: Original Sin 2 is available now on PC, and also the upcoming Definitive Edition will soon be accessible on PS4, Xbox One, also PC in August. Xbox One owners, though, will have the chance to check out the game beforehand via its addition in the Game Preview Program beginning this week.
