Fortnite’s v3.5 Content Update Now Live; Includes the Return of 50v50 Mode, Light Machine Gun, and More

Fortnite is steadily taking on the world on consoles, PC, and mobile, and now the massively-popular shot is adding to its attributes with a brand-new content upgrade released this week.

Developer Epic Games has released the newest content update for Fortnite across all platforms. The v3.5 upgrade itself features the long-awaited return of the game’s 50v50 Mode, also in its own V2 iteration, the style itself comprises two two groups, twice as much ammo, and also double the quantity of carnage since the last time players got their hands on it.

Along with this 50v50 Mode’s yield, other new features and improvements include a fresh light machine gun weapon to the game’s Battle Royale mode, while the Save the World style is getting its own new features, such as fresh challenges that a new Neon Weapon, the Mercury LMG.

  • By Thursday, April 19 until Sunday, April 22 players will receive the following:
    • 2x experience when enjoying Battle Royale.
      • Do not log in to claim your Llama on each of those times to collect all of four.
    • Resiliency improvements to help prevent protracted downtime.
    • Fix for a high speed wreck on Xbox One


    • Peeking has been reverted back to the way it served prior to v3.5.

    • Restricted Time Mode: 50V50 v2
      • two teams of 50 struggle to the finish!

      • Storm & Map

        • Increased flooring loot spawn likelihood by 15 percent.
        • Floors Loot spawns double ammo.
        • Ammo boxes exude triple ammo.
        • Supply drops spawn double ammo, and an extra consumable, resource fall and trap.
      • Bug Fixes + Mode Improvements
        • Fixed a bug that generated uneven teams where one side could have more than 50 players.
        • Downed players get rid of health faster than ordinary (10 health per tick).


    • Light Machine Gun added.
      • Unusual and Epic rarities.
      • 25 / 26 damage (Rare / Epic).
      • 100 round magazine, fires Medium ammo.
      • 5 second reload time.
      • Total this fresh questline to unlock among the four new Cyberpunk Heroes.


    • Mercury LMG
      • Energy attack weapon using a moderate rate of fire and large magazine dimensions.
