When Call of Duty: WWII’s latest DLC, The War Machine, was released a week, many supposed a new event would arrive exactly the same time, particularly considering that new weapons were added into this game’s marksman challenges, but at that moment, we didn’t hear something from Sledgehammer Games. Now, nearly a complete week after, the developer finally began teasing that a new event could be coming to the game.
The teaser, which you may check out through Sledgehammer’s Twitter account below, shows an image of Captain Butcher, the Quartermaster throughout the game’s in-game occasions, in a brand new outfit, which was similar to the one briefly seen in the game’s main menu last week, before it was then eliminated. While the character does look like his typical outfit, one significant distinction is that he has a few abilities that are pleasant.
Unfortunately we don’t understand when we’ll hear more about the occasion that is new, however, though it follows exactly the same pattern as other events, we ought to hear with the event.
Last week, Sledgehammer Games revealed that Ground War and a new multiplayer map based on the Headquarters will be making its way into the game this week, more prone to match the newest event.
