Xbox Live Achievements are Coming to Nintendo Switch Version of Minecraft

Switch, Xbox One

In what is perhaps the strangest story of the week, it seems that Minecraft players will shortly be able to make Xbox Live accomplishments while playing with the game on Nintendo Switch.

Patrick Maka was among the first where he tweeted a screenshot of this achievement to notice this revelation on Twitter listing.

Polygon managed to affirm by reaching out to Microsoft, what Maka found. An agent from the company said and responded:

“We can confirm that Minecraft players Nintendo Switch will probably have the ability to make accomplishments attached to Xbox Live once the Bedrock update is published. ”

One was probably due to the simple fact that the Switch doesn’t possess a accomplishment system connected to the console. The PS4, on the flip side, doesn’t boast these achievements on account of the usage of this console’s trophy system.

Once it does release all you’ll need to do is simply login to your Xbox Live account on the Switch to start bringing those accomplishments for yourself.
