Re-Logic Officially Cancels Development of Terraria: Otherworld

Development of the game Terraria: Otherworld has officially been cancelled.   This week Re-Logic, programmer of Terraria,  announced the decision to stop functioning around the spin-off of their first name on Terraria’s  forum.

The game was   declared back in 2015. Now Re-Logic believes that the game is still far from its vision and too behind schedule to last.   They emphasized that quality would not dash to, in their own wordscreate a Fast buck” and proceeded to state,

…we believe that we owe our neighborhood and customers it to maintain the standards that both we and you hope and to concentrate on providing the very best games that we could for you to play with.

Moving forward, Re-Logic claims they learned in declaring that the game too early and may refrain from doing this for future projects.   They also stated that aspects of this game, later on, are utilised such as seems, code, and design .

Despite this drawback, the active development of Terraria won’t be affected by the end of Terraria: Otherworld, and upgrade 1.3.6 will proceed as proposed.

Re-logic thanked players for their support in the long run by saying, “It’s that support that drives us every day to do amazing things for you. ” They added they looked forward.
