Destiny 2 released last fall and in that moment, Bungie has been steadily adding onto and updating the game with brand new articles and updates, and now the programmer is bringing another significant set of updates to the game within half a year since its release.
In a new update from Bungie, the developer revealed its evolution roadmap for Destiny 2 throughout the spring and summer to outline the upcoming updates and articles that players can expect in the coming months.
The largest of these is the launch of this game’s instant growth known as “Warmind,” which will launch across all platforms available on May 8th, 2018. Bungie stated that the next expansion “will send you to new places to satisfy new personalities and battle new enemies, even” while also promising “new loot” and fresh activities for players to grasp. More on the growth is going to be shown in an upcoming livestream in Bungie on April 24th, 2018.
Together with the growth, Bungie also detailed the beginning of the game’s Season Three, that will offer a new strategy for delivering new content to The Crucible. Particularly, the studio explained that new maps released with the forthcoming Warmind expansion will be available for players in most public matches from the Crucible, while individuals looking to play with them in upcoming private matches with buddies will have to buy the expansion to get them, and goes into effect with the release of Warmind and also the start of Season Three to May 8th, 2018.
Bungie also supplied an infographic with more information on community feedback and adjustments to Season Four, while also supplying an infographic on the way players are going to be able to access post-launch content, and establishing which articles players can access by buying expansions and that is available to players over all platforms.
