Today Xseed Games and Marvelous Entertainment Declared the North American and European Launch of four games, including two in the Senran Kagura series.
To be precise, we receive Senran Kagura Burst remake Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal for PS4 and PC, Senran Kagura Reflexions (which was initially titled Shinobirefle Senran Kagura in Japan) for Nintendo Switch, Fate/Extella Link for PS4 and PS Vita, and a remaster of the Xbox 360 classic Bullet Witch for PC.
Should you’re unfamiliar with the games, below you can read a formal outline for each.
Originally published for the Xbox 360 in 2006, Bullet Witch provided a special mix of Western dark-fantasy aesthetics and Western-style military action. This hidden gem is coming back and will likely be prepared for activity on Windows PC for a brand new generation of gamers with a host of visual and quality-of-life progress. Take good care of Alicia and her powerful, multipurpose “gunrod” to put waste into gloomy foes by bullet or spell, even utilizing the neighboring environment as part of her arsenal. All original cosmetic and content DLC is contained within this re-release, providing access to each in-game costume immediately and adding bonus missions that expand the length of the campaign well past the narrative’s conclusion.
Deciding where the story finished in Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star, Fate/EXTELLA LINK expands the roster of playable Servants with 10 new mythical heroes added to the original assortment of 16. These new Servants hail from other entrances in the Fate series and contain the likes of Astolfo, Scàthach, along with Francis Drake. The high-speed motion gameplay of Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star continues with enhanced visuals and fresh combat mechanics at both single-player and also an additional multiplayer mode supporting 4-on-4 online conflicts. Players will also be able to move freely about their new base camp–even a medieval cathedral suspended in the sky–and socialize with Servants to create bonds with them carrying on side missions that further flesh out their backstories.
Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal
Originally released under the name SENRAN KAGURA Burst at North America and serving as a “director’s cut”-style carry on the inaugural entry in this now storied series, SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal attracts the previous launch’s classic 2.5D activity to modern hardware with a full 3D remake and a fresh retelling of the story that started everything. This fast-paced brawler provides updated battle mechanics and character models, as well as all-new special effects to get a voluptuous visual feast! The series’ popular Dressing Room mode continues to observe expansions also, with a wealth of fresh outfits and options that enable players to customize their favorite girls’ appearances and styles. With additional DLC episodes to come that can reveal new narrative episodes for Yumi and Miyabi detailing their histories prior to meeting Asuka and Homura, SENRAN KAGURA Burst Re:Newal delivers an authentic recreation of the first game while ensuring that series fans will have a lot of fresh content to anticipate!
Senran Kagura Reflexions
After brutal melees, rhythmic cooking contests, and shockingly significant water gun fights, the SENRAN KAGURA series is about to accept the world of interactive storytelling for the very first time and provide players a chance to get to know the shinobi heroine Asuka in unexpected new ways. SENRAN KAGURA Reflexions utilizes the exceptional attributes of the Joy-Con™ to employ the art of reflexology and massage. Melt away Asuka’s anxieties and worries by hand or through an assortment of useful tools and explore deeper relationships than have been possible in the series before.
The advanced HD rumble technology provides a more realistic awareness of feeling and interaction with Asuka, helping direct players to react to her signals and deliver some much-needed relaxation. Interacting with her different ways will lead players throughout branching paths toward among seven different story scenes along with six unique endings–and that’s just for Asuka. Additional DLC characters such as fan-favorites Yumi, Murasaki, along with Ryona is going to be published after launch.
Fate/Extella Link will launch just on PS Vita and both physically and digitally for PS4 this cold winter. Senran Kagura Burst Re:Newal will come both physically and for PS4 and only digitally for PC this autumn. Senran Kagura Reflexions can come in the summer for Switch, however in digital form only.
