Yakuza Kiwami 2’s Western Release Announced; Coming to PS4 in August


Today during an Occasion at the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California, Sega announced that Yakuza Kiwami 2 is Arriving west.

To be more exact, the game will launch in the west August 28th for PS4.

Aside from the first atmosphere in Kamurocho, Tokyo, the next game will see protagonist Kazuma Kiryu travel to Osaka too.

A new logo has been announced for the studio working on Yakuza games, the Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and you may take a look in the bottom of the post.

Experience gorgeous graphics in addition to smooth transitions between battles or when entering or leaving buildings. All cutscenes and essential uttered lines have been re-recorded to be as accurate to the original as you can, while reaping the advantages of the most effective engine the   Yakuza series has ever noticed.

  • Big Hits, Minigames – Kiryu hasn’t allow his time away in the front lines boring his abilities in combat or leisure. Pull off a wide variety of brutal (and humorous) Heat Tasks, and challenge new minigames such as Golf Bingo, the first arcade release of Virtual-On, the yield of Yakuza 0‘s much-celebrated Cabaret (including the return of fan-favorite Yuki!)) , Majima’s revamped Clan Creator, as well as SEGA’s infamous Toylets!
  • Unveil the Truth of Goro Majima – This time around, Kiryu isn’t the only man running the show – lovers of the Mad Dog of Shimano won’t want to overlook this new Majima-centric effort, which comprises Majima as a playable character, finish with his trusty dagger, and sheds light on his private journey from the conclusion of Yakuza Kiwami  up to   Yakuza Kiwami 2.
  • Extreme Localization – We’ve moved through the Yakuza Kiwami 2 script with a fine-toothed spoon; each effort was made to make sure that it’s the very faithful representation of the original Japanese. SEGA is dedicated to supporting the ideal  Yakuza  experience possible for the series’ dedicated fans around the globe.
  • The game will release physically and digitally in North America and Europe for $49.99, and the very first run of copies include a steelbook  featuring an illustration of Kazuma Kiryu and antagonist Ryuji Goda.

    By June, the demo of Yakuza-6, which was removed by the PlayStation Store just after its launch, will likely be re-launched first next week.
