Ni No Kuni II Gets New Trailer Focusing on the Game’s Beautiful Graphics and Lighting

Today Bandai Namco Entertainment Introduced a brand new Preview of Level-5’s Forthcoming JRPG Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom.

The trailer features the game’s amazing visuals, with special attention to the light, shadows, and also the effort (quite powerful) to make it look as a 2D decoration despite being made in 3D images.

As a bonus, we also have an explanation of this process by Art Director Nobuyuki Yanai.

As usual, it seems that the group’s efforts have paid off, as every element of the game really seems fantastic, and not very different frim what we experienced together with the first game, regardless of the lack of direct involvement by Studio Gibli.

You may take a look below. If you want to see more, you should see a current preview from (comprising all-purpose cool dude Roland) the first 25 minutes of gameplay, and  browse our latest preview.

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will start for PS4 and PC on March 23rd, 2018.
