The initial three Tomb Raider games will soon be remastered and coming to Steam at some point in the future.
Developer Realtech VR will probably be in charge of bringing the games over to Steam. The variations which will subsequently look on Steam will be remasters of these cellular editions of the Tomb Raider games.
Realtech quietly revealed that they could be remastering the games for Steam when reacting to a query. Their tweet could be seen as follows:
TR1-3 remaster for PC are intended for Steam for free and also will requires the purchase of this DOS version being offered on Steam (such as ZDoom playing Doom games). In addition, the PC version will supports OpenVR and features a new 3D engine for both games.
Since you can see in their tweet, they also revealed that each of the 3 games will encourage OpenVR performance to go alongside a new 3D engine for all 3 names. Maybe the best news of all is that those who already have each of those 3 Tomb Raider games on Steam, you’ll be in a position to obtain these remasters at no cost.
While the upcoming Tomb Raider movie is based upon Lara Croft’s most recent games, it’s good that we’ll be in a position to more easily visit her past adventures. As of now, the coming of these 3 remasters for PC does not have a release date but we now’ll keep you posted in case that soon changes.
