One of the smaller but more Intriguing looking indie Games to come out of Microsoft’s E3 2017 Press Seminar was That the sci-fi co-op FPG Deep Rock Galactic, Produced by Ghost Ship Games and published by Coffee Stain Publishing. We haven’t heard a lot about the name since then, however today we learned that Deep Rock Galactic will soon be hitting Steam Early Accessibility on PC and Xbox Game Preview on Xbox One on February 28.
Søren Lundgaard, CEO and also Co-Founder of Ghost Ship Games, had the following to say about bringing Deep Rock Galactic to Steam Early accessibility and Xbox Game Preview:
“Moving into Historical Accessibility and Game Preview, we are very excited to keep growing the game with the support of our community. At start, 7 specific areas of Earth Hoxxes will be prepared to explore mine and get dropped in, but this is just the beginning and Hoxxes has begun giving up her secrets. We can’t wait to start implementing them all and have many more ideas. ”
For those who don’t know, Deep Rock Galactic is an co-op FPS game that occurs on the hostile world of Hoxxes IV. Players must mine metals and gems from the planet but also need to fend off waves of most aliens that are angered. There are four classes: Gunner, and Driller, Engineer, Scout; they have roles to play to ensure each mission is successful.
