Slime-san’s Blackbird’s Kraken Update Coming to Nintendo Switch

When the Nintendo Switch variant of Slime-san was originally declared, it was unknown whether it’d include the Blackbird’s Kraken DLC. Well, players can wonder no longer as developer Fabraz has formally revealed that the free upgrade will be available for Nintendo Switch players, and it’s coming sooner than people might expect, on February 22, 2018.

To celebrate the announcement of the DLC, a brand new trailer was released, which shows off gameplay from the Switch version of the upgrade for the very first time. You can, as always, check it out at the close of the report.

For those that don’t understand, Blackbird’s Kraken comprises twenty-five brand new levels, a new boss, new challenges, and a customizable home, 100 new collectibles, new music, new characters, a new speedrun style and a slew of additional new features, all without any additional cost.

Along with the content, a number of bugs and loading times have also been changed and enhanced. At the time of this writing, a list of changes has not yet been shown.

Slime-san was initially published on Steam on April 7, 2017, also made its way to Nintendo Switch this last dip.   This version of the game contains HD rumble, in addition to the ability to perform levels with just one Joy-Con.
