The largely common fighting game series BlazBlue has just got a large amount of criticism directed at the approaching BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle, when programmer Arc System Works demonstrated intends to have a twenty-character roster for its game having a projected twenty DLC characters, among which will be Blake Belladonna from RWBY.
In reaction to negative feedback, the developer retracted their announcement and shown that both Blake Belladonna and Yang Xiao Long would be available for free. Finally, the reason for concern was that fans thought they weren’t getting a full game at start.
DualShockers had the opportunity to sit back with SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy producer Yasuyuki Oda and designer Kaito Soranaka to ask the way the staff in SNK would strategy DLC characters statements for their upcoming fighting game. Soranaka-san’s answer suggested that they’re learning from BlazBlue‘s mistakes.
“Since BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle received bad feedback about the way they declared their roster and DLC characters, we actually need to consider how we are going to approach future statements. ”
As a follow up to this question, NISA Senior Product Marketing Manager Travis Shrodes added there are no DLC statements at this moment, but they really do intend to launch a “full game” at launch on disk and cartridge.
SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy includes popular female fighters in the SNK library at a 2 – 2 battling game. Players are able to activate exceptional moves by pressing one button should they desire. The game could be played on the internet and comprise modes such as a Story Mode and Spectate style, where players may wager in-game things. Factors can buy other customization options, accessories such as outfits, and audio clips.
In case you missed it, a new trailer was recently released showing gameplay and a few of the playable characters. Now we also got a different trailer showing the inescapable outfits.
Our whole meeting with Soranaka-san and Oda-san is going to be released soon.
