As a spiritual successor to the beloved Wonder Boy series (which acquired its very own well-regarded remake last year), the forthcoming Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is planning to bring over the timeless side-scroller platforming gameplay of yesterday with a few modern tweaks, and fortunately those wanting to experience it won’t need too much longer to wait.
Publisher FDG Entertainment has announced that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will probably be aiming to get a Summer 2018 discharge window, and with no particular release date has been shown at this time, people who are looking for a physical edition of the game are also delighted to know it’ll be offered at retail too.
FDG Entertainment shown that it is partnering with SEGA to create physical variations of Monster Boy for both PS4 along with the Nintendo Switch, which the bodily variations of the game will launch simultaneously with the game’s electronic launch this summer.
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom will launch for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, along with PC in Summer 2018.
We are pleased to announce the Monster Boy will also discharge on #PS4 disk This Summer! Super excited about the chance to utilize @Sega for the greatest possible retail partner coverage in North America. #MonsterBoyGame #WonderBoy @PlayStation #PlayStation4 pic.twitter.com/UA9PZXHO5N
