Activision Officially Confirms Next Call of Duty Is by Black Ops Developer Treyarch

PC, PS4, Xbox One

Throughout Activision Blizzard’s fourth quarter financial conference call, the publisher confirmed the programmer for the approaching Call of Duty game.

As stated by the firm’s prepared remarks, the next phase of the saga coming this season (in Q4, which means between October and December as usual)) will probably be developed by Treyarch, that’s the studio behind the Black Ops series. We also discovered that Activision “may’wont wait to share more” through conference calls.

The Most Recent Call of Duty game created by Treyarch has been  Call of Duty: Black Ops III in 2015. Should you’re unfamiliar with the game, you’re able to enjoy our review. It wasn’t ideal, but it was definitely good.

This usually means that Activision is sticking with the three-year development cycle which sees Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, along with Treyarch alternating in the helm of this  Call of Duty franchise.
