Though it didn’t necessarily work out perfectly, I always found the multiplayer mode introduced in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood to become quite ambitious and full of possibility. While that side mode was finally phased from the Assassin’so called Creed games, developer Blazing Griffin is reviving the notion in a unique manner with their Victorian-era multiplayer assassination game Murderous Pursuits, that is coming out this March.
The game is set in an alternate Victorian era reality where time travel is possible and also the rich socialize on flying ships. A mysterious man called Mr. X activities eight people with murdering each other in savage manners while still keeping calm and hiding in plain sight. When playing, each boat is inhabited by a ton of innocent AI NPCs alongside eight chief assassins, which is robots or humans.
In order to stay discreet involving glorious kills for your favor of Mr. X, players may blend in by rapping in special vignettes, which are regions where they can engage in stimulating activities like art appreciation and discussing foreign economics. When going for the kill, players can benefit from multiple pendants, flash grenades, and counterattacks. Murderous Pursuits certainly seems to stick out from your normal multiplayer game fair, and will hopefully offer you a more laid back, but a still tense and thrilling experience for those who choose to pick it up.
You may have a look at the game’s statement trailer and a number of screenshots below. Murderous Pursuits is poised to start on PC this March.
